5:00 pm to 7:30 pm: Demo Gear Check Out for Thursday On-Ice Climbing Clinics
6:30 pm to 7:30 pm: Demo Gear Check Out for General Public – Credit Card Required
Location: Emerson Ballroom. 111 South Grand, on the corner of Grand & Babcock, one block off Main St.
Ice climber appetizer specials and cash bar provided by the Emerson Grill and Emerson Grill North. Beer proceeds go toward the Hyalite road plowing fund.
7:30 pm to 8:00 pm: Demo Gear Check Out for General Public – Credit Card Required
Location: Emerson Ballroom. 111 South Grand, on the corner of Grand & Babcock, one block off Main St.

7:45 am: Meet at the Grotto Falls Parking Lot at the end of the road 13.5 miles up Hyalite Canyon. The road will be plowed but not sanded (this is a city watershed) so the the road will be icy and it is very winding. Drive slow and defensively. This means leaving downtown Bozeman no later than 7:00 am. Parking is limited & there will be car pool sign ups at the festival & host hotels.
8:00 am to 3:30 pm: Arc’teryx Bozeman Ice Climbing Festival On-Ice Clinics
Location: Gallatin National Forest, Hyalite Canyon. Climbing at Genesis I, Genesis II, Mummy II/Scepter and Unnamed Wall.
5:00 pm to 7:30 pm: Demo Gear Check Out for Friday Women-Only Ice Climbing Clinic
6:30 pm to 7:30 pm: Demo Gear Check Out for General Public – Credit Card Required

Post-Show: Raffle for the best dang gear on the planet with proceeds to benefit Hyalite Canyon road plowing.

Final rules and format explained, numbers assigned, final instructions. Failure to show up may result in disqualification.
7:30 pm to 7:45 pm: Special guest Doug Chabot, Director of the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center will discuss Hyalite, ice climbing and avalanches. Also be the first to see the official trailer for the new film “Snow Gaurdians” filmed at our own Bridger Bowl.
7:45 pm to 8:00 pm: A special presentation of the 5th Annual “Guy Lacelle Hyalite Service Award.”
8:00 pm to 9:00 pm: Hayden and his Dad. Featuring legends Michael and Hayden Kennedy,
followed by question and answers with the audience.

Gear raffle to support road plowing in Hyalite Canyon. Tons of prizes and hanging with like-minded ice fiends.
Location: Emerson Ballroom. The Emerson Grill will serve their spectacular Penne and meatballs. New this year is a special presentation by Hyalite’s own Kris Erickson and special guest Emily Harrington talking about their recent expediton to Mt. Everest and Lhotse. Tickets $20 and available at the Emerson throughout the festival. Seating is limited. Beer and Raffle sales to benefit Hyalite road plowing fund.
